There are a lot of conferences in our world: leadership summits, franchise shows, supplier showcases. But Prosper Accelerate feels like something new. It’s not just another badge to collect. It’s built for people who actually run things. Operators, marketers, suppliers, finance leads. The people who carry the weight of execution and still find a way to keep teams inspired.
Here’s why this one hits different for us.
A Practical Leadership Focus That’s Built for Real Growth
The biggest thing that stands out about Accelerate is how grounded it is in the real work of leadership. Not theory, not jargon. The work.
From the opening Accelerate Assessment, which helps you see your leadership strengths and blind spots, to breakout sessions on emotional intelligence, accountability, and team performance, everything is designed to move you forward in a tangible way.
There’s a through-line of self-awareness and execution that feels very real to us. You can’t fake culture, and you can’t spreadsheet your way into better leadership. What Prosper has done here is build a program that gives emerging and mid-level leaders the kind of coaching and perspective we wish we’d had earlier in our careers.
I’m especially interested in sessions like “The Human Side of Leadership: Emotional Intelligence as a Competitive Advantage” and “Investing in Your Future Self: Mentorship, Growth, and the Path to Leadership.” Both speak directly to the essential development we all must do to become mature leaders and the kind that doesn’t happen by accident.
I fully expect that attendees, myself included, will be taking action at or during these sessions that will reset the trajectory of their careers: sending a text to a would-be mentor, ordering that book they’ve been meaning to read, or blocking off time in the calendar for mindful reflection.
What I love is that Prosper doesn’t talk about leadership like it’s abstract. It’s practical, data-informed, and deeply human, just like running restaurants or businesses that serve them.
Ultra-Relevant Tracks for Every Corner of the Business
It’s hard to pick one example from the tracks, but the one that really caught my attention is “How Food Industry Titans are Reshaping Global Systems Through AI-Enhanced Leadership.”
This isn’t just a buzzword session. It’s Andrew Davis walking through how to actually use AI to save their precious time by building a “Digital Doppelgänger”, while avoiding common pitfalls, to help everyone become more valuable at work. The CEO of NVIDIA, Jensen Huang’s, words rush to mind, “You will not lose your job to AI; instead, you will lose your job to someone who uses AI.”
We’ve been spending more and more time helping our teams and our industry friends understand how AI can support creative work, training, communication, and even menu innovation. It’s awesome to see a restaurant-industry event meet that conversation where it really is.
Additionally, Prosper built tracks that mirror the structure of restaurant leadership today. Marketing, finance, supply chain, operations, tech. They’re all in play, and each session connects back to how people really work across departments. As much as I’m looking forward to the leadership content, I’d go a little nuts if there weren’t an opportunity to learn about and talk about tech and innovation. Guessing most will enjoy the chance to talk with their domain-specific peers.
Few events can keep both a CMO and a VP of Operations equally captivated, but Accelerate clearly knows how to make that happen.
Proven Quality and a Community That Delivers
This part is easy to say because the Prosper team has already proven they can deliver. The August Prosper Forum is one of the best-run industry events out there, polished, intentional, and packed with people who genuinely want to elevate the industry.
Accelerate feels like the natural extension of that, a space designed for the next wave of leadership talent.
We already know the dinners and networking events will be great. Those shared meals have a way of turning quick chats into real connections. I have no idea what the Block Party Dinner Wednesday will be like, but I know we’ll leave it with over 200 gigs of fun pictures and videos. I’m fully anticipating that I might find myself sitting next to someone who runs a major chain one minute and someone building the next breakout AI innovation the next.
And because this is Prosper, the curation matters. Every breakout, every speaker, every sponsor seems hand-picked to add substance. The people in the room have been nominated by their companies and peers. That creates an energy that is hard to describe.
Usually, when I think back on industry conferences, they all blur together. But Prosper events stand out. They bring back specific, vivid moments and conversations. I’m hoping Accelerate does the same.

At the end of the day, Accelerate isn’t about collecting inspiration. It’s about acting on it.
My plan is simple:
- One session to sharpen my craft.
- Two sessions to challenge my perspective.
- Three relationships I’ll commit to building beyond the event.
And then, block time the following week to turn notes into decisions.
If the Prosper Forum built the table for industry leadership, Accelerate is where the next generation learns how to take a seat and own it.
